A rare find, Manufactured by Savoy China Number 791, and un-stamped, This is a model of Martyrs' Memorial in Lewes, with the Matching Crest of Lewes.
It has the instcription as follows:
Model of the Lews Martyrs' Memoral. Erected in 1901 to the memory of 16 Protesants burnt to death in front of the Star Hotel 1555-1557
